La nouvelle série documentaire en trois parties intitulée au coeur du Métropolitan Museum dévoile les coulisses du plus grand musée d’art des Amériques, alors que les conservateurs se préparent à célébrer le 150e anniversaire de l’institution emblématique en 2020 par le biais d’expositions ambitieuses et marquantes. De l’écriture au trait, du récit à la couleur, en passant par les influences, le film restitue la création en cours et ouvre les portes d’un univers à l’esthétique tourmentée d’un homme qui a su imposer son style et lever les frontières entre bande dessinée, cinéma et art contemporain. Enki Bilal dévoile littéralement la conception du deuxième volet de son album BUG dans lequel il dépeint un monde futur paralysé par un bug informatique. Entre mémoire et transmission, il dessine le passé et esquisse le futur… Et son dessin est d’une beauté à couper le souffle !
